The Situation
The owner was tired of the columns that separated the kitchen from the living room and wanted to open the wall up.
Analysis
We designed a beam to span the opening and recommended a contractor to complete the job. Our report was used to record the modification with the City and the design was adhered to by the contractor to ensure proper installation.
