Parker County was created and named after the pioneer and state representative Isaac Parker. Within this county, the town of Weatherford was built and named after the State Representative of the district Thomas Jefferson Weatherford. The city is located right outside of the Metroplex so many citizens commute to work there, but much of the industrial and commercial growth this town has done is attributed to the close proximity as well. Today the city hosts many festivals and celebratory events for their past and the history that made the town what it is today. The city takes great pride in their ability to grow the best peaches and therefore Weatherford is known as the Peach Capital of Texas and this is also widely celebrated. Their greatest treasures are said to be the historic homes and buildings that create a portal to the past. Local homeowners have been proud to watch the values of their homes and median list price per square foot steadily increase since 2012. There is also a lot of real estate growth here and 130 new home communities available on the market. If you and your family are taking part in any of this real estate action, Crosstown Engineering will be here to readily assist you with any engineering report, foundation evaluation, and home inspection needs.
