Leander, Texas

A suburb of the greater Austin area, Leander was one of the fast growing cities from 2018-2019. Leander was established in 1882 and named after Leander “Catfish” Brown, one of the railroad officials responsible for the completion of the line. It was near Leander that the Leanderthal Lady, a skeleton dating back 10,000 to 13,000 years, was discovered. The city provides various recreational activities such as aquatics, athletics, and kids summer camps hosted around the area. Similarly, there are multiple parks, such as Sandy Creek Park or Lakewood Park, that offer areas for swimming, camping, hiking, and bird-watching. You can also visit Old Town Leander and find various restaurants, breweries, wineries, farmers markets, and an annual street and Christmas festival. Make sure to have Crosstown Engineering conduct an engineering report, foundation evaluation, and home inspection today!
