Farmers Branch, Texas

Interestingly enough, the town now known as Farmers Branch was originally called “mustang” as was settled in 1842 by a couple. The name was eventually changed to Farmers Branch as it became known for the rich soil and crops that flourished here. In 1877 the Dallas and Wichita railroad built a depot on Farmers Branch and much later in 1946 the town was officially incorporated.
